If John wasn't a successful accountant he would have been a navy captain.
A large part of John's childhood was spent on the water sailing small boats around the North Wales coastline. The sense of adventure and excitement of life on the ocean waves was eventually not enough to distract John's career path as a chartered accountant. Based firmly on dry land John started his career with Coopers and Lybrand in Manchester where he was to qualify as a chartered accountant and spend the first 10 years of his career.
Prior to forming phibbs-edge in 1986 John spent a period working in insolvency and latterly in industry as finance director for an international organisation. This experience has enabled John to become a rounded business advisor and to achieve great success with phibbs-edge.
His focus has always been on providing an exceptional personal service and he has been able to achieve this through his experienced and competent team in Wilmslow.
As a director of Afford Bond John is able to continue to service his portfolio of clients in Wilmslow and will also be key to the integration of the two offices and the continued growth of Afford Bond.
