Tim has joined Afford Bond in our Wimslow office with over 20 years’ experience in successfully advising owner-managed businesses on tax planning for the future, tax mitigation on current profits and securing refunds on overpaid tax.

He is a Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant and previous appointments include Coopers and Lybrand and Arthur Andersen before joining regional firms to advise local family businesses.

He has led a tax team specialising in the automotive industry and then developed a tax compliance and tax advisory team in East Cheshire focused on succession planning, valuations and innovative tax reliefs for businesses and high net worth individuals.

Tim’s focus is to deliver tax planning advice that meets our clients commercial objectives with timely tangible results.

His enthusiasm for Golf overrides his ability and he also likes to spend time on walks with his family and Hector, his Cocker Spaniel.
