Cheshire accountants, Afford Bond, are delighted to announce the appointment of three key members of the firm’s senior team to its board of directors.

Newly appointed members Chris Regnauld, Ben Edwards and Tom Hornbuckle bring together a wealth of knowledge and experience to support in the delivery of future growth.

Chris Regnauld joined the tax team at Afford Bond in 2011. His wealth of advisory experience in both private client and corporate taxation has been a major factor in the growth of the firm’s tax consultancy offering since his promotion to Tax Director in 2018. Chris commented, “I’m really looking forward to the next chapter for Afford Bond as we continue to strengthen our client relations, and lead businesses to further success through our combined expertise.”

Ben Edwards joined the firm as Associate Director three years ago and oversees a growing portfolio of both SME and larger corporate clients. His keen strategic focus and high-level business support has seen him become an influential member of the local business community during what has been a difficult time for local businesses. On his recent appointment, Ben commented “Themove strengthens our position as one of Cheshire’s leading accountancy practices whilst ensuring that we continue to provide the highest level of support to our longstanding client base.”

Based at the Wilmslow office, Tom Hornbuckle joined Afford Bond in 2017. He leads a strong team that provides high quality audit and compliance services, whilst assisting clients in meeting their long-term business objectives.

“This is an extremely exciting time for Afford Bond and its clients,” said Tom. “We are now one of the region’s premier advisors and these appointments, each with their complementing skillsets, provide an excellent platform to further enhance our client offering.”

Afford Bond Director, Paul Edwards also added, “These key strategic appointments will strengthen the firm’s position moving forward. I’m confident that Chris, Ben and Tom will help ensure that we continue to offer the highest level of service to our strong client base.”
