MP EDWARD TIMPSON DISCUSSES INVESTMENT AND EXPANSION FOR SOUTH CHESHIRE

Mar 10, 2017

We were delighted to sponsor the South Cheshire branch of the Institute of Directors today (10th March) as they held a very successful networking event at Bentley Motors in Crewe. The event focussed on sharing information on where our local business community and the surrounding region is headed in terms of investment, infrastructure, employment and growth.

With excellent talks from MP Edward Timpson, Bentley Director Sally Hepton, Cheshire East Council Skills and Growth MD Julian Cobley, and Crewe High Growth City’s Hayley Kirkham, delegates were also given the opportunity to ask questions and hear of the huge investment – and timescales – planned for the area over the coming years with the arrival of HS2, new road networks and housing.

Afford Bond Partner, Jonathan Curwen said: “We were delighted with the strong turnout from local business people and entrepreneurs.  The business community in South Cheshire continues to go from strength to strength and it was a fantastic opportunity for delegates to be able to discuss, and positively influence, the planned investment into the area.”
