December saw the reirement of Joan Sumnall after nearly 50 years with Afford Bond. This is an amazing achievement and we all wish Joan a long and happy retirement. To even try to imagine how the profession has changed during this period is mind blowing and thankfully we were joined by two of our retired partners (one via Skype from Miami) to share some of the stories from the office. It is great testament to Joan that she has adapted to the technological changes the profession has seen and carried out a senior role within our growing and tecnologically advanced payroll department.
